I believe that genuine human creativity can uplift us and enrich our lives even in challenging times, and all my work seeks to find humour, love, interest and beauty in the reality of life. While we all feel the need to escape sometimes, you can only sustain that for so long. Ultimately we need to build fulfilling lives in the here and now, and art and fiction can show us the way.
